The Challenge
When Felicia and her mother contacted Blue Haven Events Co., their goal was to plan a surprise 35th birthday celebration for Que that felt elegant, cohesive, and full of love. They had a vision board filled with inspiration photos and specific ideas – and they weren’t afraid to change their minds a few times along the way. What they needed was a creative partner who could translate that evolving vision into a flawless, elevated experience for more than 120 guests.

Our team provided:
- The Instaprint photo booth with a fully custom overlay and branded design
- Complete table setup and event décor, including tables, chairs, linens, charger plates, napkins, napkin rings, flatware, cups, and centerpieces
- Custom 4-foot handmade marquee numbers (“3” and “5”) with integrated lighting
- Balloon décor, coordinated through one of our trusted vendor partners
Every table featured a sleek black tablecloth topped with a silver table runner, layered white dinnerware, silver-trimmed cups, and gold flatware. Each place setting was accented with a crystal napkin ring and silver details for a clean, high-end look. The centerpieces featured three tall vases filled with water beads and flameless floating candles, arranged on 10” mirrored bases that caught and reflected the candlelight for a soft, glowing effect.
We worked through six design revisions to perfect the look – testing combinations, photographing samples, and sending updates to the client until every detail aligned with their vision. The result: a room that felt cohesive, sophisticated, and photo-ready from every angle.
The Experience
Setup took about three hours total: one hour for the photo booth and roughly two for tables and chairs. Once the event began, the energy was electric. A mobile bartender greeted guests at the top of the stairs, the DJ kept the party moving, and our photo booth stayed busy for all four hours of the event. Every guest took photos – and everyone stopped to pose with the giant illuminated “35” display.
Guests from out of state shared that they wished they had a company near them that could pull off something like this. The décor was one of the biggest talking points of the evening, and the photo booth became the center of laughter, connection, and celebration.
