Framebridge Pride Activation- Washington, DC
Framebridge aimed to create an engaging in-store experience during DC Pride to attract parade-goers and spotlight their photo-strip frames.
The Challenge
Framebridge, a well-known custom framing brand, wanted to create an in-store experience during the DC Pride celebration that would attract parade attendees, spark engagement, and increase awareness of their photo-strip frames. They aimed to draw in new customers and capture valuable marketing data while giving paradegoers a fun, memorable reason to step inside the store.


The Blue Haven Solution
Blue Haven Events Co. brought the energy indoors with a fully branded Instaprint experience strategically placed inside Framebridge’s large street-level windows. The booth, backdrop, and prop table were all visible to parade traffic – creating instant curiosity and foot traffic.
Our team collaborated closely with Framebridge’s in-house design team to produce a custom start screen, onscreen interface, and overlay template that aligned perfectly with their signature color palette seven distinct Framebridge tones (not traditional rainbow hues). Everything was designed to feel intentional, polished, and true to their brand identity.
The activation was run by our on-site Blue Haven team, who interacted directly with customers, explained how the booth worked, and encouraged them to print their 2×6 photo strips and explore the matching frame options available for purchase in-store.
The Experience
Over a full seven-hour activation, approximately 80 guests stopped in to take photos, chat with our staff, and experience the brand. The energy inside the store stayed high all day – parade participants loved the idea of leaving with a tangible keepsake, and the booth became a focal point for both fun and conversation.
During setup, our team caught a print-alignment issue that trimmed part of the frame design on the 2×6 prints. Within minutes, Blue Haven’s management – operating remotely from another event – coordinated with Framebridge’s design team and the store’s event planner. A new design was created, approved, and deployed before guests even began arriving in large numbers. The event continued seamlessly without interruption.
